Another consideration is audience: Horror films seem to appeal to adolescents, action films to males aged between about 11-18 whilst thrillers tend to be more sophisticated and appeal to an older demographic.

Re camera angles and movements, all genres or combined genre films use a variety of camera angles and movement. With horror it is often the high and low angle, action films often use aerial or drone shots and often point of view as in a car chase in order to position the audience with the action...i.e. the front seat!!! Thrillers frequently use tilt shots and low angle.
